GENÉTHPHOBIA, THE BIRTHDAY PHOBIA: Birthdays are just not the same anymore?

Is it only me? Nah, must be at least 7.3 MILLION out of 7.3 BILLION people.

It's my own made-up phobia (it exists, I believe it does), a diagnosable mental disorder? Well, if you or someone you know experience intense distress when faced with the source of your or their phobia, it can prevent a person from functioning normally and sometimes leads to freak-out-episodes.  Is the answer a white padded room without a calendar the answer for the new found phobia, Genéthphobia? Btw, this has nothing to do with spiders and snakes; this is deeper shit!

I bet I have to explain how I got to that term Genéthphobia (you won’t find it in the Oxford dictionary, not yet) This is my own construction of an anti-birthday, irrational, unwanted and disabling fear of a day everybody celebrate; the day when you gave your first breath, the day you don’t want to celebrate and welcome into your life.
A list of phobias pop up and there’s a name for every psychiatric condition (referring only to phobia’s, not fall down on the floor and spin conditions), turning to Greek Mythology for the best possible denomination: genéthlia, greek for birthday. You are not crazy. We just need to label what you dislike and add a phobia to it, and there you go, you have a condition you never thought you had.
For those not struggling with the Genéthphobia (yes I made up that word, 👏🏻YAY👏🏻. I invented. Im going to propose this to a unstable medical board and a person who struggle to climb the ladder with stockings and peep-toes at oxford. Im worried about the grip of that ladder, never mind the perve's that all of a sudden needs a book in the category where peep-toe is holding om for her life. Maybe this is her break. We all know how you make it to the top in the suit-environment... no ladders, you only need a pair of legs.

There’s millions out there having the same vibe about a birthday. Boy oh boy, the stereotype list is long. Before I start with the list; it was suppose to be a special day today. I didn't feel it because Neuropathic Pain took me down and robbed me of any hope of a happy day. What a dysfunctional start to a special day.
  • You lost a loved one, your person, your life partner!
  • Your best half has ignored you for the past 15 days and you winder if he’ll at least start to grow a heart again.
  • You know you’re time it up with a horrible disease before midlife crisis could hit and you made another b-day
  • Your life changed radically when a disability hit you when you least expect it. This is my line. 4 years. Everyone is seriously trying to make my day bright and shiny. I love them so much but Im trapped in a body, still millions of question marks that haunt me daily and beg for pain relief many times.
  • You’re 89 and you feed your partygoers with “Im so blessed with another year, I should've been long gone”. Stop it; you wish you were younger
  • You have suicidal thoughts that you kept a secret fir a very long time, and you’re birthday come and go and the urge is bigger than a non-birthday day
  • You are a Romeo without a Juliette or the other way around; or more likely a Romeo without a Romeo. The white horse is still a donkey. You think you’ll make it work and hope the donkey change miraculously to something charismatic. You lost the prince a few months ago, but he’s not the problem; he doesn't even cross your mind. You are driving home with a “Heart” playlist. All I wanna do is make love to you..., and you drive around the block to feel the chorus, to feel your situation because you know you’re getting into that bed on your own.
  • You’re a youngster and don’t have airtime to at least get into it on social media and text messaging.
  • You're in isolation. There’s many many reasons why you could be isolated. You wanted off the grid living for such a long time. You have the one globe and a solar panel, birds and maybe some wild animals staring at you crying on the porch you built with your own two hands. Incarcerated maybe? Where’s that joy? Di they do something special? I doubt it.
  • You are waiting for a call from ONE specific person. Checking your phone 30 times per minute. The. You get the idea or develop the paranoia that your phone might be on silent. Shit, you wish that Steve Jobs made that button bigger with an ON and OFF in braille.
  • You're home alone when you hit the big 50. Kids are in university and your husband might be fucking around. You unsure about the business trip. You don’t know what to believe
  • You can still taste the D of divorce. You convince yourself that you might've over reacted and the bastard is not such a bad person. You could've handled the abuse, as long as you aren't alone.
  • Any other reason that cause you to finish a bottle alcohol on your own and you dance to your favourite tubes you enjoyed in your last year of school while your pets close their eyes with their paws, leave the room or stick their head under a scatter cushion.
Even if the above change, you are still fucked. Its imprinted in your blueprint. Deep, and it was a sore marking made with a flame-res iron. I'ts there. It wont disappear. Pshycologist, a Life-coach, man name it; even a traditional healer cant do the shit. Talking about a spiritual chick that tried cord cutting... you seriously have to be far gone to feel the results.

How serious is a Phobia?
Phobias are more serious than simple fear sensations and they are not limited to fears of specific triggers. Despite individuals being aware that their phobia is irrational, they cannot control the reaction of fear. Symptoms may include sweating, chest pains and pins and needles. If that happens to yo on your birthday, (I’m referring to sweating, chest pains and pins and needles, you are seriously far gone…. Then this content won’t be of assistance. You’re talking about serious mental issues and 10 x 2 hour life couch sessions won’t help. Maybe chemical pharmaceutical stuff, don’t go herbal because the results might be fatal)

You get 3 phobias and the anti-birthday phobia, GENÉTHPHOBIA, is a birds fart in a twister when comparing it with serious phobias. You get SPECIFIC PHOBIAS, SOCIAL PHOBIA (which is actually just an anxiety. You choose this one because you just like to carry another label), and AGORAPHOBIA - this is serious shit. You can see it when you look at the word. It has the attributes of arachnida (or is only me that can make that association).

SPECIFIC PHOBIA’S - that’s the one we’re discussing here, GENÉTHPHOBIA, the anti-birthday-clan phobia, is an intense, irrational (hashtag irrational) fear of a specific trigger like seeing your date of birth on a piece of paper, receiving texts, letter and presents. (When you get the present your whole perspective change and the phobia rolls like water off a duck back). These phobias are known as simple phobias as they can be linked to an identifiable cause that may not frequently occur in everyday life. The long and the short is; you have one birthday each year and therefore genéthphobia won’t affect your day-to-day living in a significant way. You just put stress on yourself and the day after your birthday you can look back and say - shit, I’ve been irrational and fucked up yesterday. Why the issue? Why the reaction?


How do I know I have Genéthphobia?
  • You start to lie about your birthday
  • You have a few birth dates
  • You used a permanent marker in your ID book to cover up the month and the day. They year is okay. Most leave the year because the requestor or investigator has an option of 365 days. It’s one hell of a gamble.
  • You lock yourself up and stay in your PJ’s the whole day
  • You make sure your yearly leave is taken over the period, somewhere around your birthday so that no-one can make a scene at work
  • You suddenly fall ill a day before your birthday (and you might go to the extend of going to the doctor, play sick and get a “booked off for 5 days due to poor health” note.
  • You plan and organise your life around avoiding the cause of your fear. It’s more severe than a normal fear reaction. You sit and ponder and work out a plan for days, working yourself up.
  • On a SERIOUS NOTE: you have an overpowering need to avoid anything that triggers whatever cause anxiety.

Lets move to the serious stuff, just for interest sake: 
SOCIAL PHOBIA - This is a profound fear of public humiliation and being judged by others in a social situation. The idea of large social gathering is terrifying for someone with social anxiety. Don’t mix it up with being shy - it’s more serious than that.

AGORAPHOBIA - You are slightly stuffed! It’s a fear of situations from which it would be difficult to escape if a person were to experience extreme panic, such being in a lift or being outside of the home. It is commonly misunderstood as a fear of open spaces but could also apply to being confined in a small space, such as an elevator or public transport for that matter. Can you see why I say you are stuffed? If it’s not big spaces its small spaces.

Physical symptoms when someone is standing face to face with their phobia
  • Sweating
  • Abnormal Breathing
  • Accelerated Heartbeat 
  • Trembling
  • Hot flushes or chills
  • Choking Sensation
  • Chest Pains or tightness
  • Butterflies in the stomach
  • Pins and Needles
  • Dry mouth
  • Confusion and Disorientation
  • Nausea
  • Vertigo
  • Headache  

Somewhere it has to change. It cant carry on like this!

I’m raving about everything but the cure. We have meds and counselling, but there must be a DIY way…. Let’s dig deep into brain-archives. Somewhere must be something that makes sense. Every year is getting more and more shitty and shittier. I dread my phone the evening before everyone wakes up (because Im a late-riser)

How do you change it?

There has to be a way, not to sweep your phobia under the rug, but a way that you can deal with past disappointments and hope and pray that next year will be different and better. Medications? Generally psychotherapy using exposure therapy is successful in treating specific phobias. However, sometimes medications can help reduce the anxiety and panic symptoms you experience from thinking about or being exposed to the object or situation you fear, but do you really want to pop a pill (in this case on your birthday? It’ll need to be a pill that last a good 24 hours… every 3 hours sounds like a lot of work, but if it helps its all worth it because if you’re in the situation, biting your nails; 12 hours for your fingers, 6 hours per hand, and then you have to continue with your feet. 6 hours per foot, 1 hour 20 minutes per toe! After your birthday you’ll have to be working a pretty good job. You’ll receive 2 bills (in your inbox when you’re under the age of 62, and one in your mailbox on the street over the age of 62 (because when you’re over 62 and you have. A birthday phobia might not be the only phobia when you have a whole 62 years of shit that piled up. TWO BILLS: 1. Psychotherapy 2. Physiotherapy aka Mental and Physical help. You have serious problems then.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
All of the above is a lot of jabber. Your birthday is your birthday. You live once. You’re only turning 38 once. Make it a special day. It’s not that bad. I don’t have the answers to all the serious problems you might be facing, for real now, when you have serious emotional problems facing days such as your birthday you should go see a professional who specialise in this kind of stuff. A BLOG IS JUST A PIECE OF ART IN THE FORM OF WORDS.

I have my demons, no two ways about it. 2 of the long list is my own:
  1. Being disabled, a paraplegic. It seriously messed up my whole life and until the day I stand up out of this wheelchair, I won’t be able to enjoy anything to the full extend like I use to. My legs has been stolen from me. If I hear there’s a reason for everything I want to throw the fuck up. There’s a handful that allowed to use those words. The rest. Bugger off! Those words makes it worse because I do t get the answer for the reason
  2. Turning 37 was the worst ever birthday. I was ignored for half a month, not knowing if the person that’s suppose to be my everything and visa versa would bother to remember that it’s my special day. 2017 changed my blueprint. If I go back and look at my journal in which I express my emotions I understand why yesterday, my 2018 birthday was not a happy one. It’s there… I won’t forget… I have to work around it because if someone step on you knowing that you’re on the floor already, how deep is deep.


CLING TO THE HAPPY ONES.
I don’t do photos, journals or thoughts of my old life, life before the accident, but I had to think about the past, my old-life-past, pre-accident-past. My favourite birthday EVER was on the beach with my dogs; kayak and surfboard. What a day. A day I wont forget, ever. The hot sun bronzing my body and the feeling of gratitude was so overpowering that I yearned for someone to share this special moment with, but in reality, it’s me, only me and a few photo’s I won’t go search for.

all the ".ion's" causing a CREATIVE BLOCK

Today, actually since Friday afternoon (6 days and a bit) I had to deal a Creative block, or barrier to inspiration for my creativity, caused by 2 the words ending with "ion". Depression, Frustration, because of a 4 letter word: (not love), PAIN. This inability to access my internal creativity drives me nuts.

I've got so many projects, some close to completion, some not even started yet (with d-dates). Its medication, medication, medication and a neuro-stimulator. Non of which relieve my pain so that I can work.

Those in creative professions—writers, musicians, performers, artists—are often more likely to be affected by creative blocks, which can last for days, weeks, months, or even years. Luckily mine's longest period is no longer than a week; then I have the strength to deal with pain, not think about it and have the energy to revamp a cathedral and crawl against the ceilings like Michelangelo with brushes and a palette.

I experience a creative block when I experience a discomfort in body, mind or soul and there's sooo many triggers that cause this uncomfortable feeling to kick in.

The biggest triggers (usually it was only one at a time) that closed my creative-juice-taps were depression, frustration and stress. Since the accident there's one trigger that activates ALL of the above, at ones, PAIN!

It can be difficult to get past a creative block, but in the past by often simply becoming aware of when, how, and why a creative block developed could help me work to address the creative block and prevent it from returning. But now? How can I emotionally figure pain out within myself? No therapist or life-couch will be able to sort this one out.

Well, its actually easy: "take away my pain"

My inner critic is often useful in the process of completing work, a project or a piece of art and then sometimes come to dominate certain aspects of my feelings or behavior. This self-critique may sometimes be overcome through focused meditation and then to acknowledge the internal critic but disregards it. A childish one but it works: my need for approval that might also stifle my creative process. I just couldn't get to the space of meditation to acknowledge today. Its usually WHEN I'm creative that I kick into a meditative state and sort out some small issues I struggle to deal with in between the daily rush of life.

I realized that a fear of the unknown aspect is present in some cases of stages where I experience a creative block. And the fear is ridiculous, the fear of not knowing when pain will return if I have a bit of relief.

I've turned to a variety of strategies to address my inability to produce. I find that changing a long-standing daily routine is an effective method. Sometimes a change of scenery to restart creative processes.

Solitude is also an important part of the creative process, and finding time to be alone, away from technology or distractions. It helps me facilitate a renewed sense of creativity.

Then there's perfection, and its not necessarily a harmful goal, tendencies toward perfectionism stall my creative process and prevent my natural flow of inspiration from flourishing. I often reexamine my goals and consider ways in which perfectionism may detract from my creativity.


Take all of the above, subtract pain (which will cause all the "ion's" to evaporate and I'll have a huge, awesome, sexy muse standing right next to me... then I'll think: "What does a creative block feel like?"

Dealing with Disappointment

The gift of disappointment is to bring us into reality so we don’t get stuck in the realm of how things might have been. 

​I turn enjoyably inward with a paintbrush in my hand and an empty canvas.  Gives me plenty of time to decide if the emotions caused by the disappointment I'm working through is worth stealing any joy.  But expectations makes life complicated - just eliminate the thought of "I wish", "I'm sure it'll", "Imagine he"... the list goes on.


Whenever we do something in life with an expectation of how we’d like it to turn out, we risk experiencing disappointment. When things don’t go the way we had envisioned, we may feel a range of emotions from slightly let down to depressed or even angry. We might direct our feelings inward toward ourselves, or outward toward other people or the universe in general. Whether we feel disappointed by ourselves, a friend, or life in general, disappointment is always a tough feeling to experience. Still, it is a natural part of life, and there are many ways of dealing with it when we find ourselves in its presence.

As with any feeling, disappointment has come to us for a reason, and we don’t need to fear acknowledging it or feeling it. The more we are able to accept how we are feeling and process it, the sooner we will move into new emotional territory. As we sit down to allow ourselves to feel our disappointment, we might want to write about the experience of being disappointed—the situation that preceded it, what we were hoping would happen, and what did happen. The gift of disappointment is its ability to bring us into alignment with reality so that we don’t get stuck for too long in the realm of how things might have been.

As we consider other disappointments in our life and how we have moved past them, we may even see that in some cases what happened was actually better in the long run than what we had wanted to happen. Disappointment often leaves us feeling deflated with its message that things don’t always turn out the way we want. The beauty of disappointment, though, is that it provides us a bridge to its other side where the acceptance of reality, wisdom, and the energy to begin again can be found.

The effects of negative Emotions on our Health

After days & many hours of introspection, Guidance and research, this is the conclusion that popped up:

Before we begin to explore the subject:
Remember, you have the power in you to get through anything life throws at you. Instead of labeling with perception the concepts of negative and positive as it relates to each experience you have in your life, try to see things from a  big picture standpoint. Ask yourself, how can this help me to see or learn something? Can I use this to shift my perception? Clear some emotion within myself? Realise something within another and accept it? Whatever it may be, instead of simply reacting, slow things down and observe. You will find you have the tools to process emotions and illness quickly when you see them for what they are and explore why they came up. If you believe you will get sick all the time, and believe you have pain because it’s all out of your control, you will continue to have it all in an uncontrollable manner until you realise the control you have over much of what we attract within the body.

Humans experience an array of emotions, anything from happiness, to sadness to extreme joy and depression. Each one of these emotions creates a different feeling within the body. After all, our body releases different chemicals when we experience various things that make us happy and each chemical works to create a different environment within the body. For example if your brain releases serotonin, dopamine or oxytocin, you will feel good and happy. Convexly, if your body releases cortisol while you are stressed, you will have an entirely different feeling associated more with the body kicking into survival mode.
What about when we are thinking negative thoughts all the time? Or how about when we are thinking positive thoughts? What about when we are not emotionally charged to neither positive nor negative? Let’s explore how these affect our body and life.

Positive vs. NegativeIs there duality in our world?
Sure, you could say there is to a degree, but mostly we spend a lot of time defining and judging what is to be considered as positive and what we consider to be as negative. The brain is a very powerful tool and as we define what something is or should be, we begin to have that result play out in our world. Have you ever noticed, for example that someone driving can get cut off and lose their lid, get angry and suddenly they are feeling negative, down and in  bad mood? Whereas someone else can get cut off while driving and simply apply the break slightly and move on with their day as if nothing happened. In this case, the same experience yet one sees it as negative while the other doesn’t. So are things innately positive and negative? Or do we define things as positive and negative?

Cut The Perceptions As Much As Possible
After thinking about it for a moment you might realise that there are in fact no positive or negative experiences other than what we define as such. Therefore our very perception of an experience or situation has the ultimate power as to how we will feel when it’s happening and how our bodies will be affected. While we can always work to move beyond our definitions of each experience and move into a state of mind/awareness/consciousness where we simply accept each experience for what it is and use it as a learning grounds for us, we may not be there yet and so it’s important to understand how certain emotions can affect our health.

Mind & Body Connection
The connection between your mind and body is very powerful and although it cannot be visually seen, the effects your mind can have on your physical body are profound. We can have an overall positive mental attitude and deal directly with our internal challenges and in turn create a healthy lifestyle or we can be in negative, have self destructive thoughts and not deal with our internal issues, possibly even cloak those issues with affirmations and positivity without finding the route and in turn we can create an unhealthy lifestyle. Why is this? Our emotions and experiences are essentially energy and they can be stored in the cellular memory of our bodies. Have you ever experienced something in your life that left an emotional mark or pain in a certain area of your body? Almost as if you can still feel something that may have happened to you? It is likely because in that area of your body you still hold energy released from that experience that is remaining in that area.

When you have a pain, tightness or injuries in certain areas, it’s often related to something emotionally you are feeling within yourself. At first glance it may not seem this way because we are usually very out of touch with ourselves and our emotions in this fast paced world, but it’s often the truth. When I’ve had chronic pains in my back, knees, neck or shoulders, it wasn’t exercise, physio or anything in a physical sense that healed it, it was when I dealt with the emotions behind it. I know this because I spent the time and money going to physio and even though I wanted and believed I would get better, something wasn’t being addressed still. The more I addressed the unconscious thought pattern and emotions throughout my body, the more thins loosened up and pain went away.

When you get sick or are feeling a lot of tightness and pain, often times our body is asking us to observe yourself and find peace once again within yourself and your environment. It’s all a learning and growing process we don’t have to judge nor fear.

You have the power!
Davis Suzuki wrote in ‘The Sacred Life’, ‘condensed molecules from breath exhaled from verbal expressions of anger, hatred, and jealousy, contain toxins. Accumulated over 1 hr, these toxins are enough to kill 80 guinea pigs!’ Can you now imagine the harm you are doing to your body when you stay within negative emotions or unprocessed emotional experience throughout the body?

My principles and beliefs around “MAKING IT LAST FOREVER or HAPPILY EVER AFTER”

WE ARE IN IT FOR LIFE, SHARING EVERYTHING, FOREVER

Real-Life “Last Forever’s” are much different from the Fictional “Last Forever’s” all manufactured in our mind. I’m a big devotee of mindpower, visualizations and manifestations of what we live in the divine-intelligence of desire and need for a satisfying, rewarding existence.
I’ve seen, experienced and had an idea of couples that has been in the marriage trenches and they are still laughing, smiling and enjoying life to the amplest. I believe in the following enigmas and I see it in my awesomely rewarding relationship with the love of my life, through living the loving quality of unconditional love that exist in my own.

We are best friends forever
You have to seriously like each other to make it last. Just like you will share every experience with your best friend and share every small little detail of our lives every day. Sometimes our separate days are exciting and other days it’s quite platonic. We want to do everything together and share the experience and every emotion generated through every discovery on our journey and how we perceive as a unit or individually where the share of this makes your association grow into something greater than the concept of the platonic “just being together”.

Merging previous lifestyles
This even includes our style and sense of décor. We had to merge every single aspect of our individual lifestyle former to our consolidation.

Never fight about money
The money and material things is not “mine” anymore, it’s “ours” now. Never let your relationship deteriorate over something as inconsequential as money and materialistic things that cost some scaling sweat before the achievement of success. Never blame a mishap when it comes to money.

Discuss sensitive subjects when the time is right
Take your partners feelings into consideration, but still be very honest about your approaches, mindsets and feelings concerned in your daily episodes.
You will have dissimilar perceptions. Your relationship will have seasons when it’s stronger or when it feels feeble. Whatever you do in early days that makes you laugh together, make time to do those same things for the rest of your life. Share whatever makes you laugh even though your partner does not grasp the humor in the moment. It happens to me quite often. Hahaha!

Every Evening must be date night.
Make sure you keep that feeling of “I can’t wait to see you” for the rest of your life. It’s possible.
We seek to do good for the other person, instead of fighting over “what about me”
I use to be guilty when it came to “what about me”… The experience is one where each partner is giving and serving the other. It’s the most amazing feeling when you get to the point of accepting the receiving and not only giving in life. Our accident forced me to accept receiving assistance in life and love. This was the end-result of being single for such a long time.

We plan forward and compromise
Everybody has their rough spots in life, but if everything is focused on past hard times, else your relationship becomes albatross, lift your head, face and plan your future and commitment. Share your goals and merge whatever you want to achieve or where you want to be in life in 5, 10, 20 or 40 years.
We truly knew ourselves before we were blessed with each other
If we have met 10 years ago, for sure, our relationship wouldn’t have worked. You meet at a junction on your journey when God knows it’s time to share your expedition with the right heavenly-match-made combination of two individuals.

We are as different as a couple can get.
But rather than be irritated by our differences, we revel in them. We find each other’s foibles endlessly amusing, much like watching exotic animals in a zoo. Opposites attract. We’ve got the one full of tattoos and not-clean-language and the other with a clean, boerseun lifestyle and dominee-like. Not a day goes by that Andre makes fun or I make sure I use language that Andre does not like.

We share a common dream.
When couples have that, every bump in the road is on the way to somewhere that matters and we want.
We prioritize each other.
You have a new best friend now, your spouse. Make sure to have “your time” and always, before any decision, discuss this with your partner. It works like a tripwire.

Mind our manners.
Too often we show more respect to strangers than to those we love. For example, use my pet-name in every sentence on a text: “my love, what would you like to have for dinner tonight”, not just “what would you like to have for dinner”!

Affection and touch
We LOOOOVE to have any limb to quickly touch each other. Just a toe when you lay in bed, a hand on a leg in the car, a quick kiss and hug when we walk past each other.

We’re in it for life
You are both going to do a lot of growing up and maturing over the years – you have to stay intimately in touch with each other’s growth over all this time or you end up not knowing the person you chose to be with eternally.

2016 has been a life-changing, challenging year full of thrills which intoxicated, stirred, moved, inspired, roused, exhilarated, electrified, invigorated, overwhelmed, overpowered, astounded , amazed & mind-boggled a mixture of emotions year, a journey of a lifetime experienced by a very few fellow human-beings

It’s been a year where we’ve been forced to practice introspection, a year where we had to try to figure out the reasons and causes of events, possible goals and glazed for hope with an answer to move to the end-destination, a phenomenon for us as beings living in a fallen state, even though we were created in the image of God, having all the power and not using it to our full potential like explained in the script always referring to our faith which can be grown with the most powerful end-results (Matthew 17:20) Because of your unbelief, for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you”

This year I’ll be working towards a goal, which I’m sure is the reason of this life-changing event; to change lives and grow within myself towards a spiritual level to bring out forth, amplify, evolve, reveal, unfold, disclose and strenghen the possiblity of faith to be able to move something even smaller than a mountain, just the emotions, willpower, appreciation and the realization that you are blessed in abundance. I wish to have the faith of Abraham & Moses even if my ego stands in the way of my spiritual development.

2016 will be the year where I will work towards the strengthening of relationships with all my loved ones, and try to mend broken or disappointed hearts.

I ask for guidance to be able to experience gratitude and see the abundance of blessings every day, like my mom convinced me that you only need a 20 minute moment of complete positive thought-patterns to change the vibrations of the whole day to follow. I want to be able to see the positive reason behing every situation, even though we experience and process the obstacles as negative, not knowing that we can’t see the rattle-snake rolled up behind the rock on our life-path, complaining that we don’t want to walk around the rock, but rather over the rock, not trusting that we’ve been bestowed with what is the best for us. Help me to realize that God loves all of us, unconditionally

Approach this awesome year with the knowing that it will be the best year EVER

Dogs left in hot cars - Please share to save lives

Lets go viral with this one because this matter is disturbing and dog-owners do not understand the consequences of leaving your dog, or any animal for that matter in a car.

On 18 December 2015 Mr Warner shared his valid concern on our local Plettenbergbay Facebook page of a dog left in a car in the parking lot in heat, I assume far of over 30 degrees. Thank you for the post Mr Warner.  This will save a lot of animals' lives.

JUDGEMENT - the A4 list: yours to smoke if you judge

I always knew its hectic, but seriously!
Im served with a topic, no, more just a "hovering" topicevery day. It took me years to master the step-by-step recipe to get to an acurate concrete conclusion. I'll share the how-to on this one because it will be of excellence towards your soul:

1. Idea, 2. The Script (as in the bible - the App type), 3. Information gathered through "self-help" books which ΐs on the shelf for hard-copy reference, 4. the www.


JUDGEMENT IT IS... I had to come and sit down to figure this one out... (mind you, I'm always sitting down lately)


Daily I'm being judged, because of my weird looks of course: tattoo's, piercings, hair-style, I swear more than the average guy, my smoking & having a loving husband.

This ΐs the scriptures I found regarding judgement towards our fellow human beings:

I'll carry copies of this with me from this day on... If someone just look like he wants to judge I'll roll a page up and ask him/her to smoke it.
